If you've managed to more or less keep on top of the maintenance of your vehicle and the interior is relatively clean, then our mini car valet service may be the ideal choice.
A car mini valet is a professional clean of your entire vehicle focused predominantly on the exterior, with a vacuum and wipe down of the interior to follow. Air freshener is also applied to eliminate odours and leave a subtle fragrance. Carried out by skilled technicians with many years' experience, you can expect a high-quality finish that will leave your vehicle looking (and smelling) great.
What is included in a mini valet?
Despite the name, our mini car valet is a comprehensive service that's intended to maintain the appearance and fresh feel of your vehicle without going to the extent of a deeper clean.
Wash
We will carry out a thorough citrus pre-wash and wheel clean using acid free wheel cleaner, before applying a pH-neutral snow foam liberally to the whole vehicle. Once we've rinsed off the snow foam we carry out a contact wash using high-quality shampoo and a two-bucket wash and rinse system. Our lambswool mitts are non-abrasive and we never use brushes to clean vehicle paintwork.
Dry
All paintwork is thoroughly dried using a large, non-abrasive microfibre towel, which helps prevent water spots from forming.
Tyre shine
Professional tyre dressing product is used to restore that showroom look to your tyre sidewalls.
Windows cleaned
Interior and exterior windows are cleaned using a powerful formulation that can cut through tree sap and insect residue, but that will not cause any damage to paintwork or other surfaces it may come into contact with. It's also wax and silicone-free, so your glass will benefit from a crystal clear finish with no residue left behind.
Wipe down
We will carry out a wipe down of the dashboard, facias and all other plastic or vinyl surfaces inside your vehicle.
Vacuum (inc. boot)
A dry vac of the entire interior of your vehicle, including the boot, will remove accumulated dust and dirt. Upholstery cleaning using shampoo and wet and dry vacuum is available as an optional extra or if you upgrade to our Full Valet.
Dog hair removal (optional)
Dog hair is extremely time consuming to remove from vehicle upholstery and fabric, is tough on our equipment and requires extra time to be spent on site. As such, we offer this service as an optional extra.
Air freshen
We'll remove that musty car smell with an odour-neutralising spray and leave you with a complimentary Autoglym air freshener. We're also able to remove strong odours such as cigarette smoke for an additional fee.
If it's been some time since you last had your vehicle valeted or have neglected the maintenance of either the exterior or interior, there may be better options, however.
How long does a mini valet take?
Our mini valet should take no longer than 1.5 hours for a small-medium sized vehicle, assuming no optional extras are required or heavy soiling/dog hairs are encountered.
This gives us sufficient time to professionally wash and dry the exterior whilst paying attention to the finer details, such as the wheels, tyres and windows, before moving on to the inside which will be thoroughly vacuumed before the dashboard and other interior surfaces are wiped down.
How much is a mini valet?
Our mini valet service starts at £50 for a small-medium sized vehicle such as a hatchback or standard family saloon.
Mini valet prices vary according to the level of service offered—for example, a large vehicle such as an SUV or MPV costs £5 extra due to the additional time required to complete the work. Likewise, commercial vehicles tend to take longer due to heavier soiling. We also offer a range of optional extras such as Autoglym UHD Wax, which you can select when booking your valet using our online booking system. Prices for optional extras reflect the additional time we will need to spend working on your vehicle.
